Pancakes! 3 Ways

Mmmm pancakes, but 3 times differently! Traditional pancakes, delicious mini pancakes (poffertjes), and American pancakes. All three can be made using Lisa's Choice Pancake and Mini Pancake Mix. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner. In short, it's always pancake time!

Pancakes! 3 Ways

Ingredients

Pancakes (approx. 6 pieces)
skillet, oil for greasing
150 grams of Pancake and "poffertjes" Mix from Lisa's Choice
2 eggs
350 ml (plant-based) milk

Poffertjes (4 servings of approx. 11 mini pancakes each)

mini pancake pan, oil (for greasing), brush
150 grams of Pancake and "poffertjes" Mix from Lisa's Choice
2 eggs
350 ml (plant-based) milk
a splash of oil
1/2 packet of dry yeast (3.5 grams)
powdered sugar, knob of butter

American Pancakes (approx. 10 pieces)

skillet, oil for greasing
150 grams of Pancake and "poffertjes" Mix from Lisa's Choice
2 eggs
350 ml (plant-based) milk
2 teaspoons of baking powder
maple syrup and fresh fruit


Preparation

Pancakes
Place the flour in a bowl and pour half of the milk into it. Mix well until you have a thick batter without lumps. Add the remaining milk and mix until it becomes a smooth mixture. Add the eggs one by one and mix until you have a smooth, lump-free batter. Preheat a skillet on the stove and add a very small amount of oil. Pour the batter into the skillet and flip the pancake once it's slightly set. Delicious with both sweet and savory toppings!

Poffertjes

Place the flour and yeast in a bowl and pour half of the milk into it. Mix well until you have a thick batter without lumps. Add the remaining milk and mix until it becomes a smooth mixture. Add the eggs one by one and mix until you have a smooth, lump-free batter. Finally, add a splash of oil and stir well. Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle. Place the poffertjes pan on the stove and let it heat up. Grease the pan with a small amount of oil. Pour the batter into the pan. Once the batter has slightly set, you can flip the poffertjes. Enjoy with powdered sugar and optionally a knob of butter!

American Pancakes

Place the flour and baking powder in a bowl and pour half of the milk into it. Mix well until you have a thick batter without lumps. Add the remaining milk and mix until it becomes a smooth mixture. Add the eggs one by one and mix until you have a smooth, lump-free batter. Let the batter rest for a moment. Preheat a skillet on the stove and add a very small amount of oil. For each batch of 3 pancakes, pour three spoonfuls of batter into the pan and flip the pancakes once they are slightly set. Delicious with Maple Syrup and fresh fruit!
